Players take control of the brand's signature braided mascot to navigate the world of Savoria, battling mechanical adversaries and solving puzzles to secure four magical stones. The project is the work of 81monkeys, the Canadian studio currently developing the open-world RPG World of Anterra. By enlisting an established indie developer, the fast-food chain has managed to generate genuine curiosity rather than the typical skepticism reserved for brand-led digital content.

Perhaps the most notable aspect of the release is the explicit promise that the game is entirely human-made. The developers highlight on the Steam storefront that the project contains no generative AI assets, a deliberate stance that distinguishes it from recent trends in corporate media production. The title will be available as a free-to-play download, turning a marketing campaign into a playable product that aims for actual mechanical depth.
