Net income reached $491 million, or $1.07 per share, while adjusted EBITDA hit $937 million—a significant jump over the company's previous $874 million guidance. Driven by this momentum, Norwegian adjusted its full-year projections, now anticipating $2.55 billion in adjusted EBITDA and earnings of roughly $1.70 per share. While bookings have shown only modest improvement since the last quarter and remain below the company's ideal range, management is betting on a new marketing platform debuting in January and infrastructure upgrades, including a waterpark at its Great Stirrup Cay private island, to bolster future demand.
Alongside the financial results, the company confirmed a major shift in its executive suite. Chief Financial Officer Mark Kempa is stepping down following a 25-year tenure. Meghan Montana, the current chief strategy officer, is set to assume the CFO role on Jan. 1.
