The iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199, while the Pro Max model begins at $1,299 for 256GB configurations. Available in deep black, silver, burgundy, and glacier blue, these devices arrive in retail stores on September 18. To offset the rising hardware costs, carriers are leveraging trade-in programs and service plan requirements to entice buyers.
T-Mobile and AT&T are currently leading the promotional field, offering up to $1,200 in value through trade-ins and specific service plan activations. Verizon is following suit with similar credits of up to $1,200 for new lines on its myPlan tiers. Smaller carriers like Visible and Total Wireless are targeting budget-conscious shoppers with $480 in service credits and $600 discounts, respectively, provided users commit to specific monthly plans. Meanwhile, Apple’s direct trade-in program offers up to $885 in credit for those upgrading from an iPhone 13 or newer.
