The offer requires users to commit to the carrier's Experience Beyond plan. Customers can access the incentive through two primary paths: either by switching to T-Mobile and porting an existing number to a new line, or by trading in an eligible smartphone. Notably, the carrier accepts trade-in devices in any condition, broadening the appeal for those holding onto older hardware.
The list of qualifying trade-ins is extensive, spanning recent Apple models from the iPhone 15 Pro through the 17 series, as well as a wide range of Samsung Galaxy handsets, including the S24, S25, and S26 lines, alongside various Z Fold and Z Flip iterations. While the $1,200 credit covers the bulk of the iPhone 18 Pro's premium price, subscribers remain responsible for upfront sales tax and a $35 device connection charge.
