T-Mobile offers iPhone 18 Pro at no upfront cost

Following months of industry speculation, T-Mobile has launched a promotion allowing customers to secure the new Apple iPhone 18 Pro without an initial hardware charge. The offer targets both new subscribers looking to switch carriers and existing users willing to trade in a device under specific service conditions.

To qualify for the device, customers must enroll in an Experience Beyond plan, the carrier’s premium data tier. The deal requires either porting an existing phone number to the network or trading in a qualifying smartphone in any condition. Rather than an immediate discount, the savings are applied as monthly bill credits distributed over a 36-month payment term.

While the hardware cost is covered, buyers are still responsible for the local sales tax on the full retail price of the device, payable at the time of purchase. Additionally, T-Mobile applies a standard $35 device connection fee per line. This arrangement effectively locks the user into the carrier's highest service tier for three years, providing a path to Apple’s latest flagship technology for those committed to a long-term contract.
