Apple rolls out iOS 27.3 beta with expanded Siri and Safari updates

The centerpiece of this release is the return of the redesigned Health app, which now leverages Apple Intelligence to provide predictive insights into long-term wellness. By analyzing user activity and sleep patterns, the app introduces new metrics like Health Age and movement assessments, paired with a more streamlined interface. Safari also receives a functional boost with the introduction of vertical tabs, allowing users to shift their open pages to a side menu for better space management. Additionally, the browser now features Adaptive Dark Mode, which forces a dark aesthetic onto websites that lack native support.

Siri AI has gained deeper integration across the operating system, now capable of handling complex, multi-step requests within native apps like Mail, Photos, and Files. Beyond productivity, Apple has reimagined StandBy mode, bringing customizable clock faces and shared album integration to a wider range of iPhone models. Fitness enthusiasts will find new strength training routines in Apple Fitness+, while iPhone Duo users gain a specialized Reachability setting to improve one-handed navigation. The update also broadens Siri’s linguistic reach, adding support for Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, Turkish, and Norwegian.
