The redesign focuses heavily on the Denali and AT4 trims, which currently account for half of the Sierra’s total sales volume. By integrating unique components and premium amenities, GM aims to solidify the truck's position as a primary driver of corporate earnings. To simplify the manufacturing and retail footprint, the company is eliminating the SLE and SLT trims. The revised lineup will consist of the Pro, Elevation, AT4, AT4X, Denali, and the top-tier Denali Ultimate.
While the current Sierra 1500 spans a broad price spectrum starting at approximately $41,000 and climbing past $86,000 for the Denali Ultimate, the company has withheld specific pricing and performance figures for the 2027 models. These technical details are expected to arrive closer to the vehicle's commercial launch, which is slated for late this year.
