The E15 model distinguishes itself by ditching the traditional boundary wires required by many competing units. Instead, it relies on Pure Vision Navigation, utilizing stereo cameras and AI algorithms to map and traverse outdoor spaces. The onboard 3D obstacle-avoidance system—powered by Vision SLAM technology—allows the mower to detect and maneuver around common yard hazards like toys, landscaping rocks, and trees.
Functionality remains consistent even when weather conditions deteriorate. If the sensors detect rain or insufficient light, the unit automatically retreats to its charging base, waiting to resume its programmed schedule once conditions improve. Users manage all operations, including zone mapping and mowing intervals, directly through the Eufy smartphone app. The hardware is optimized for lawns up to 0.2 acres with slopes reaching 18 degrees and grass heights under 3.5 inches. Note that the mower is not compatible with denser varieties like Zoysia or St. Augustine grass.
