The second-generation model introduces significant functional changes wrapped in a nostalgic aesthetic. Beyond the classic faux leather finish, the camera now debuts in four transparent jelly colors—strawberry, blue, lime, and tangerine—designed to evoke a 1990s visual style. The most notable functional addition is a dedicated button for cycling through six built-in filters, including Vintage 1–3, Analog, and Black & White options.
Hardware improvements address common pain points from the first version. The chassis is slimmer, features a tripod mount, and now supports screw-on photo filters. Internally, the battery life has been bolstered to support approximately 500 photos per charge, and the shutter mechanism offers a more tactile, responsive experience. For younger users or those wanting consistency, a new Camp Lock feature prevents accidental filter switching. Despite these changes, the device preserves its core simplicity: no screen, 4GB of internal storage, and straightforward USB-C file transfers to Mac, iOS, or Android devices.
