The $519.99 bundle launched Oct. 29 and is listed at Nintendo, Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy and GameStop. The source reports Nintendo and Walmart out of stock, while Amazon may release small batches throughout the day. Target is sold out online ahead of its scheduled drop. Best Buy is sold out online, with select stores planning midnight openings on Nov. 5; GameStop is taking no online orders, so shoppers must check stores in person.

Demand is rising ahead of the Nov. 5 release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Switch 2. The game costs $59.99 separately and is not included with the console. The remake revisits the 1998 title with modernized controls, an orchestrated soundtrack, reworked dungeon puzzles and expanded Hyrule environments.

The limited-edition package includes a Switch 2 with a black-and-gold finish, themed Joy-Con 2 controllers and a dock bearing a gold Triforce emblem. The system has 256GB of built-in storage, expandable with microSD Express cards, and supports up to 4K resolution on compatible TVs when docked. It also features handheld, tabletop and TV modes, mouse-style Joy-Con tracking in supported games, GameChat, and compatibility with older Switch games.

To improve the odds of checking out, save payment and shipping details on retailer accounts before a drop. Best Buy shoppers should avoid refreshing while in its randomized online queue, which can reset their place. Walmart may give Walmart+ members early access for 30 to 60 minutes before opening a drop to other shoppers. Check that a listing is sold and shipped by the retailer, rather than a third-party seller charging more. The article says Black Friday and Cyber Monday restocks are likely at major retailers, but advises treating them as a backup rather than a primary chance to buy.
