The full cost of either phone is covered through 36 monthly credits on the bill. Customers who cancel service or switch carriers before the promotional period ends will owe the remaining balance at the phone’s full retail price.

Taxes and a one-time $35 connection charge also apply. The deal therefore makes the devices free only for customers who meet the plan requirement and keep qualifying service for the full 36 months.
