Marshall is expanding its footprint in the portable audio market by introducing the Bromley 150, a compact alternative to the larger 450 and 750 models. Despite cutting the weight in half compared to the 450, the device retains a heavy-duty woofer and dual-speaker array designed for 360-degree sound projection. To accommodate the smaller footprint, engineers relocated the tactile control knobs to the side, allowing the front grille to house a reactive light show that syncs with the audio.
Functionality remains a priority for the new unit, which features an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, encased in FSC-certified wood and PU leather. For performers, the rear panel offers two XLR/6.35mm combo inputs with dedicated volume and effects controls. The device runs on a user-replaceable LFP battery capable of delivering over 40 hours of playtime, with a USB-C quick-charge feature providing five hours of power from a 20-minute session. Preorders for the $499.99 speaker begin September 29 ahead of the full retail launch.
