The X120H eliminates the tedious setup required by older models, such as burying perimeter wires or installing satellite antennas. Instead, the device utilizes a 360-degree LiDAR laser scanner paired with dual cameras to autonomously map yards up to half an acre. Its all-wheel-drive system is engineered to handle steep inclines of up to 80% and navigate over 3-inch obstacles that typically immobilize smaller units.

Safety features include AI-driven object detection, allowing the mower to identify and navigate around garden hoses, tools, and toys in real-time. Users can manage the machine via the Roborock app to schedule multi-zone cleaning or set specific mowing patterns. The unit also includes three years of prepaid 4G connectivity, built-in GPS anti-theft tracking, and IPX6 waterproofing, ensuring it can withstand outdoor conditions without requiring additional subscription fees.
