With Amazon’s October Prime Day looming, Walmart is initiating a pre-emptive strike by launching its own week-long "Fall Deals" event. Running from October 5 through October 11, the sale aims to capture consumer attention early, offering significant discounts across electronics, home goods, and toys without requiring a paid subscription.

While the full event kicks off in early October, Walmart has already begun rolling out select early-bird discounts to entice shoppers. The retailer is promising up to 50% off home goods, 40% off tech, and 30% off toys. Notably, while the general public can access these savings, Walmart+ members receive exclusive early access to the best deals.

Currently, the retailer is undercutting competitors on popular electronics. Shoppers can find Apple AirPods 4 for $99, a savings of roughly $31, and Beats Studio Pro Wireless Headphones marked down to $149. The television lineup includes an onn. 65-inch 4K UHD Smart TV for $258, alongside deeper discounts on VIZIO and TCL models. Gaming hardware is also seeing aggressive price drops, with specific MSI and ASUS ROG laptops discounted by hundreds of dollars to compete directly with Amazon's anticipated promotional blitz.
