Stellantis brings the Fiat Topolino to the U.S. market

Stellantis has opened orders for its pint-sized Fiat Topolino in the United States, positioning the electric vehicle at a base price of $13,995. Though it mirrors the aesthetic of the classic Fiat 500, the vehicle is technically classified as a quadricycle, designed for ultra-short commutes rather than highway travel.

The Topolino, whose name translates to "little mouse," is manufactured in Morocco and arrives in the U.S. with modest performance metrics. Out of the box, the EV reaches a top speed of 19 mph and offers a range of approximately 46 miles per charge. To navigate public roads with speed limits of 35 mph or lower, owners can install a standard "Low Speed Vehicle" conversion kit that increases the maximum velocity to 25 mph. While Stellantis provides this kit at no additional cost, a mandatory $990 destination fee brings the actual purchase price to $14,985.

Availability remains constrained for the initial launch, with Stellantis planning to ship only limited quantities throughout the year. Customers can choose between a standard hardtop configuration or the "Dolce Vita" soft-top model, which replaces traditional doors with nautical-style ropes. The vehicle functions as an alternative to golf carts rather than a traditional passenger car, targeting urban environments where space and short-distance mobility take precedence over speed.
