David Boreanaz
David Paul Boreanazis an American actor, television producer and director whose career has been defined by long-running television roles across supernatural drama, crime procedural and military action.
He rose to prominence as Angel, the vampire with a soul, on Buffy the Vampire Slayer from 1997 to 2003. The character became a breakout figure on the series, leading to Boreanaz headlining the spin-off Angel, which aired from 1999 to 2004.
After establishing himself in genre television, Boreanaz moved into network crime drama with Bones, starring as FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth opposite Emily Deschanel. The Fox series ran from 2005 to 2017 and became one of his most successful projects, cementing his status as a reliable TV lead.
He later starred as Jason Hayes, a United States Navy SEAL Master Chief Petty Officer, in SEAL Team. The military drama premiered on CBS in 2017, later moved to Paramount+, and concluded in 2024.
Boreanaz is also set to lead NBC’s reboot of The Rockford Files, playing private investigator Jim Rockford, a role originally made famous by James Garner. He will also serve as a producer on the project, which is being developed as a modern update of the classic detective series.
