Insta360 Expands Audio Lineup with E-Ink Equipped Wireless Microphone

The hardware targets vloggers and mobile creators who require high-fidelity sound without the complexity of top-tier professional kits. Each transmitter includes a microSD slot for direct 32-bit float capture, ensuring audio remains clean even during extreme volume spikes. For users already invested in the Insta360 ecosystem, the Direct Connect feature enables Bluetooth pairing with cameras like the X6 or Ace Pro 2, eliminating the need for a separate receiver.

Versatility remains a core focus, as the system supports a traditional setup via USB-C or 3.5mm jack for DSLR and smartphone compatibility. A single transmitter provides up to 13 hours of battery life, while the charging case extends total runtime to 34 hours. The system further allows for complex setups by syncing up to four transmitters to a single receiver. The product is available now, with the full 2TX + 1RX bundle retailing for $249.99.
