The upcoming MacBook lineup, potentially branded as the MacBook Ultra, targets creative professionals in video, photo, and music production. These laptops are expected to feature 14 and 16-inch OLED displays integrated with a Dynamic Island interface. Powering these machines will be Apple’s latest M6 silicon, which will also debut in a refreshed iMac model during the same presentation. This release marks a significant shift for the high-end laptop category, representing the most substantial update to the lineup since the 2021 introduction of the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro models.

Alongside the hardware refresh for laptops, the updated iPad mini is slated for release. Current reports suggest the device will house an A20 Pro chip, a repositioned landscape camera, and an upgraded speaker system. There is also speculation regarding a move to an OLED display for the smaller tablet, aligning it with the premium features expected in the new MacBook series.
