The Goat G1 eliminates the need for perimeter wires by utilizing a HoloScope 360° Dual-LiDAR system. This technology maps outdoor spaces with 2cm positioning accuracy, maintaining navigation even when obscured by tree cover or fences. The mower also features TruEdge trimming, designed to navigate right up to the borders of flower beds and sidewalks to minimize the need for follow-up manual work.
Safety remains a core component of the hardware, which identifies more than 200 distinct obstacles. The sensors detect pets, small wildlife, and patio furniture with a precision of 5cm, preventing collisions during operation. Through the companion app, users can define specific mowing zones, establish no-go areas, and manage recurring schedules without leaving the house.
