Garmin Fenix 9 and 9 Pro: New Design, Features, and Pricing

The standard Fenix 9 offers up to 16 days of battery life in smartwatch mode and introduces the Epic feature, which aggregates multi-day adventures—such as long hikes or cycling trips—into a single endurance narrative. This update provides users with a comprehensive look at how sustained efforts impact stamina and recovery. Garmin has also refined its tracking capabilities to include more granular performance metrics for rowing, a move clearly aimed at the growing community of Hyrox trainees.

Stepping up to the Pro and Pro Solar variants brings a brighter display and a multi-colored LED flashlight capable of emitting white, green, or red light. While the Pro models are slightly thinner and lighter, they house larger batteries, with the Solar version extending runtime up to 34 days. The 47mm versions of the Pro and Pro Solar are priced at $1,099.99, while the 51mm editions retail for $1,199.99. All devices will be available for purchase through the official Garmin website starting August 28.
