T-Mobile Launches Incentive for Fiber 2 Gig Internet Sign-ups

The Fiber 2 Gig plan typically carries an $80 monthly price tag, but the AutoPay discount brings the cost down to $70, excluding taxes and fees. To capture the $100 bonus, customers must complete their installation and maintain their account in good standing. The company notes that the virtual Mastercard, which arrives after installation, may take up to 14 weeks to process and carries a six-month expiration window. Users should be aware that the incentive is subject to clawback provisions: canceling service within 180 days of installation requires a full refund of the $100, while cancellation within 364 days requires a 50% repayment.

Beyond the headline offer, the service package includes professional installation, a WiFi router, and mesh extenders if the installer deems them necessary for coverage. Unlike traditional cable connections, this fiber service provides symmetrical upload and download speeds, a significant advantage for data-heavy tasks like cloud backups and video conferencing. While T-Mobile offers lower-tier plans such as the 300 Mbps option for $45 monthly, those tiers do not qualify for the current 'Month On Us' promotion. Because availability remains limited geographically, prospective customers must verify service coverage at their specific address before committing to the sign-up process.
