T-Mobile offers the new Motorola Razr at no upfront cost

Foldable smartphone enthusiasts can now secure the latest Motorola Razr without a trade-in, provided they commit to a new line on T-Mobile’s Experience More plan. The carrier is effectively subsidizing the device through a 24-month promotional credit arrangement, bypassing the traditional requirement of swapping an older handset for a discount.

The device features a 3.6-inch Extreme AMOLED cover screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1,700 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7450X processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Photography duties are handled by a 50-megapixel main sensor and a matching 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, all supported by a 4,800mAh battery.

While the phone is marketed as free, the offer functions as a two-year service contract. Customers will see a finance charge on their monthly statement, offset by an equal credit. Leaving the network or upgrading before the 24-month term concludes triggers an immediate requirement to pay off the remaining retail balance of the hardware.
