Under the hood, Samsung is reportedly abandoning its proprietary Exynos W1000 silicon in favor of the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite SW6100 chipset.
Design choices reflect the intended use cases for each model, with the Ultra 2 featuring a titanium casing and 100-meter water resistance. In contrast, the standard Watch 9 maintains an aluminum build with a 5 ATM rating. All devices are slated to run Wear OS 7 atop One UI 9 Watch. Pricing remains a primary point of interest: the entry-level 40mm Watch 9 is expected to start at €409, while the premium Watch Ultra 2 LTE could command a price tag of €749.
